PISTOL AND RIFLE RANGES

Our ranges are owned and operated by East Dundee Shooting Range, Inc.

We ask that all range gear is brought into the store in a bag or other container.

Officially, we have the largest private indoor shooting facility in the United States with a total of 63 lanes. The rifle ranges have state-of-the-art ventilation equipment and target carriers.  The pistol ranges are updated to provide the same ventilation.

We have over 180 guns to rent, including pistols, revolvers, and rifles.  See the rental page for a detailed list. 

Note that all range fees and rentals are subject to a 5% East Dundee Entertainment Tax. 

We do not allow black powder firearms on any of our ranges.

PISTOL

The pistol range consists of three ranges with 8 lanes each at 25 yards (75 feet). 

At 25 yards, our pistol ranges stand a full 50% longer than most, and with 24 shooting positions in addition to a private training range, there’s plenty of space.

An hour of Pistol Range time is Free on your Birthday! You must present a valid ID to claim the free hour. It must be on the date of the birthday.

RIFLE

The rifle range are separate ranges. There are two 50 yard ranges with 7 lanes each; two 75 yard ranges with 7 lanes each. 

Please Note: We do not allow pistol fire on our rifle ranges. This is partly because of the lower ceiling and seated shooting position, as well as that we cannot verify that each shooter is practiced enough to fire a handgun at extended ranges.

RANGE RENTALS

Ranges can be rented for private classes.  Renters must be certified instructors with liability insurance.  Classes must have 1 instructor per 5 students when shooting.  Proof of certification and liability insurance required upon arrival at the store.  NO REFUNDS

Entire Range Rental Rates:

25 yard, 8 position handgun only – $236.25 for 1 hour

40 foot, 11 position handgun only – $367.50 for 1 hour

50 or 75 yard, 7 position rifle only – $315.00 for 1 hour

Full Range rentals are very limited for weekends, so for parties of 10 or more special accomodations may be made before or after store hours on weekends, at our discretion.  Call for price and availability.
