These classes take you beyond the basics to hone your skills

GAT GUNS has many classes that will train you to defend yourself in different situations both inside and outside of your home. The instructors are police officers with many years of experience in training police officers.

AR-15 Build Class

• Learn how to build an AR-15 from the ground up! This course covers complete assembly of your lower receiver. It also covers the components of the upper receiver and how they interact to cycle the gun.

• You will need to purchase a firearms kit prior to taking this course.

Intro to USPSA/IDPA Competition

• This course is for shooters interested in action pistol sports, including USPSA and IDPA. This course will help you prepare you for your first match or take a step in the development of their competition participation.
• $150.00 | 2 hours
• You will need your handgun, 150 rounds of ammo, 3-4 magazines, and a holster.

Defensive Pistol 3 – Scoot and Shoot

• This class will focus on developing the technique to move forward, backward and laterally while engaging a target or multiple targets. All aspects of phase 1 and 2 are incorporated into these drills.

• You will need your handgun, 250 rounds of ammo, extra magazines, and a holster.

Defensive Pistol 4 – Low Light / No Light

• This class will teach you several techniques to shoot your firearm while using a flashlight. You will learn how to engage targets and move from point-to-point in the dark.

Chaotic Pistol

• Each month the scenario changes and you will use the techniques learned in Defensive Pistol 1-4.
• $75.00 | 2 hours

Defensive Rifle 3 – Moving and Shooting

• This class will focus on engaging targets on the move and also in low light or no light conditions.
• $150.00 | 4 hours
• You will need your rifle, 200 rounds of ammo, handgun & holster, extra magazines, magazine pouch, and a flashlight.

Defensive Rifle 4 – Challenge Day

• You will take all of the skills learned in the previous classes and put them to use in skill driven events that are designed to challenge you and help you see if equipment you have purchased is well suited and positioned correctly to help you perform at your highest potential.

Long Range Rifle

• This class is designed for shooters who want to challenge their abilities at long ranges and covers all the necessary skills for shooting out to 600 yards.

Advanced Rifle Shooting

• This class will teach you how to use a mil-dot scope to shoot at varying distances without changing the dope on your scope and also how to adjust for the wind.
