Concealed Carry for Illinois, Utah, Florida and Arizona

GAT TRAINING offers classes that cover many different types of shooting.  Our professional instructors are NRA Certified and have many years of experience teaching civilians, police and military.  If you have no experience with firearms and think you might want to try shooting, we have Handgun Safety Classes for both ADULTS and YOUTH.  If you are a new gun owner, we have classes to get you started.  If you have been shooting for a while and just want to improve your shooting skills, we have advanced classes for you.

If your interests are In-home Defense or Concealed Carry, our certified classes are for you.  We teach classes for the Utah and Florida permits which are the two best non-resident permits. With both, you can carry in around 30 states.  We teach the entire 16 hours of training for the Illinois Concealed Carry permit and can do the electronic finger printing and ID photo on-site, and we can do the on-line application. Additionally, we will be offering the re-certification course for Illinois Concealed Carry renewals.

Our youth handgun safety classes are very popular.  Our certified instructors have created a two hour class that includes classroom and range time plus the handgun, ammo, and eye/ear protection for both the child and parent.

You can choose from the classes under the Training menu to get more information on each class.  To register on-line for a class, see our Training Calendar.  Click on the class you want and register on-line.  Payment is by credit card.  After registering you will receive a confirmation email.  If you do not have access to a computer, we can register you in the store or over the phone; just have a credit card ready.  If you do not have a credit card, we accept cash or check for payment when registering in the store.  This can be done only at the write-up counter upstairs.

Our training facility has a large classroom that can hold 100 people.  When needed, the classroom can be divided into two 50 person rooms so we can run two classes at the same time.  In addition, there is a small classroom that can accommodate private lessons.  Our 50 foot private training range has 11 lanes.

Instructors reserve the right to cancel a class if we do not have 5 people registered 1 week before the class date. If we cancel a class, you have the option to receive a refund or we will transfer you to a future class.

WE WILL TRY TO ACCOMMODATE RESCHEDULING WHEREVER POSSIBLE. REFUNDS & CREDITS WILL BE ISSUED ACCORDING TO CLASS SPECIFIC POLICIES FOUND IN THE COURSE DESCRIPTION. A CANCELLATION/RESCHEDULING FEE MAY APPLY. PLEASE READ COURSE DESCRIPTIONS PRIOR TO REGISTRATION FOR ANY PREREQUISITES & REQUIREMENTS.
